Sbragia Family Vineyards
The Sbragia family’s ties to Dry Creek Valley run deep, back to 1904, when winery founder Ed Sbragia’s grandfather came to Sonoma County from Italy to work at the now historic Italian Swiss Colony. After three decades of winemaking at Beringer in Napa Valley, Ed decided to create a winery with his children at the site of the former Lake Sonoma Winery at the end of Dry Creek Road. This Dry Creek winery’s Comparison Tasting allows guests to compare and contrast wines made from Sonoma and Napa appellations. Cheese plates can be purchased separately. $40.
Stephen & Walker (Trust Winery)
This small, family-owned winery off the Healdsburg Square is owned by winemaker Nancy Walker and her partner Tony Stephen, who met at U.C. Davis. Stephen & Walker’s tasting room offers a flight of five small-lot wines, paired with complimentary cheeses from four local creameries. Though their wines hail from several appellations throughout California, most carry the Dry Creek Valley appellation, so we’ve included them in this region. $20
