Artesa Vineyards & Winery

Artesa winery’s Spanish heritage is reflected in the Vino con Queso experience, which pairs five artisan cheeses to five Artesa wines, including chardonnay, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon. This Napa cheese tasting is served in Artesa’s sleek tasting salon, renovated in 2017. The 350-acre estate is dotted with sculpture and other contemporary artworks. Its owner, Codorniu Raventos, began making wine in Spain in 1551. $60

Domaine Carneros

This stellar sparkling wine producer with Champagne roots (owned by the Taittinger family) offers a Chateau Sampler Tasting ($30) of six wines—sparkling and still—with an optional cheese plate with nuts and crackers ($20). Enjoy the experience in the French-inspired chateau’s salon or on the stone terrace, overlooking Carneros vineyards–making it one of the best wineries in Napa with a view. $50

Mumm Napa

Add a $28 artisanal cheese, dried fruit and nut tray to the Oak Terrace Tasting and discover how sparkling wine is a fine foil for salty, savory fare. This Champagne Mumm outpost offers tastings of limited-production and aged sparkling wines on the Oak Terrace, with views of the vines and hills of Rutherford. $50

Peju Province Winery

Cheeses from local, limited-production creameries meet complementary Peju wines in the Small-Farm Cheese and Wine Pairing experience. Served on a shady courtyard terrace or in the Peju kitchen (depending on the season), the cheese tasting includes four wines with four fromages and homemade jams by winery chef Alex Espinoza. The chef selects new cheeses for the pairings 3-4 times a year. $65

Priest Ranch

A sister brand to Somerston Estate, Priest Ranch has made wine and cheese tasting a focus at its downtown Yountville tasting room. Its pairing matches one white and three red wines ($25-$35) with a cheese plate ($25), which features Cowgirl Creamery selections, charcuterie, nuts, olives and more. $50
